- 1 1/2 oz (2 parts) Irish Whiskey
- 3 oz (4 parts) Hot Coffee
- 1 oz (1 1/2 parts) Fresh Cream
- 1tsp Brown Sugar
Invented by Joseph Sheridan. The coffee was conceived after a group of American passengers disembarked on a miserable winter evening in the 1940s. Sheridan added whiskey to the coffee to warm the passengers. Heat the coffee, whiskey and sugar; do not boil. Pour into glass and top with cream; serve hot.
